International Paediatric Pathology Association - IPPA
IPPA approached us back in 2014 and asked if we would manage all their online activities.
Every year IPPA host an Advanced Course in Paediatric Pathology. Started by Professor John Emery in 1979, the 6-day annual course consists of lectures, discussions, practical sessions and slide seminars, offered at a variety of European venues and featuring international and local experts.
Our responsibility is to create a new, secure section within the IPPA website to host the annual event. Here, all participants can view all the lectures, handouts and slide seminars from their course. After one year, this course then moves into the IPPA archive area, where all past participants can log in and view material dating back to 1979.
Paediatric Pathology Society - PPS
The PPS were next to get in touch, the two organisations work closely with each other and having seen what we were doing for IPPA, decided to hire tikTok design to manage their online activities also.
The PPS holds annual scientific meetings as well as their AGM. Scientific meetings include guest lectures, abstracts, slide seminars, and since COVID, virtual meetings which are recorded and uploaded to the PPS meeting archive section.
The PPS also have an active membership of over 450 Doctors, junior Doctors and Professors. Our responsibility at tikTok design is to manage this membership, running email marketing campaigns keeping everyone updated on meeting info, newsletters etc. They also have an extensive archive area which we manage, uploading content from scientific meetings, AGM's and updating memberships via the website using PayPal's IPN structure.
British & Irish Paediatric Pathology Association - BRIPPA
BRIPPA are of the same mould as IPPA and PPS, in fact several members of the PPS are also members of BRIPPA and most have attended the rolling five year advanced course program from IPPA. So you can see that tikTok design are getting a fantastic name among the pathology sector as we now manage the online affairs of BRIPPA as well!
BRIPPA have an active member base and hold a one-day annual meeting incorporating a business meeting of the Paediatric and Perinatal pathology EQA scheme, the Annual General Meeting and the Annual Scientific meeting.
Our responsibility is to have all the scientific content uploaded to the secure area of the site for members to log in and view.
Prime Global Health - PRIME
PRIME are our most recent clients who want tikTok design to manage their website for them.
PRIME is a program bringing together a group of interdisciplinary researchers from the United Kingdom, South Africa and Bangladesh to address the challenges of preterm birth (PTB) in low-middle income countries (LMICs).
PRIME hold annual conferences, both face-to-face and virtual. We were asked to host the first virtual event for PRIME in March 2021.
Our responsibilities for this virtual event were to have all the pre-recordings of lectures uploaded to website in case of problems on the day, if anyone couldn't give their talk, we would come in and play recording. This also went on to build the archive section after event. Also to monitor the waiting room and check registrants off from master list, explain the few simple rules in order to deliver a much better virtual experience for all involved.
